It is the traditional practice in the Tridentine mass that women wear a veil, although it is not mandatory :) If you would like to understand why women veil in the Catholic Mass: We see it not as a sign of outward virtue or gloating, but as the need for virtue and the reverent submission to the will of God. It generally follows, why women? Just as the alter and the chalice are veiled during the mass symbolizing holiness, women can choose to veil because we so specially embody the life-giving sacredness of God as His special creatures. It is a visible reminder of faith, humility, and our dignity in our identity as Christian women.
When facing the entrance of the church, Mater's parking is on the same property to its left. If overflow parking is needed, to the building's right (just across the street) is more parking. The reception building has only one entrance that directly leads you into the parking lot.
Both will be indoors, although cocktail hour will be outside
Since all items such as food, seats, and drinks are provided based on an exact guest quantity, we are limited to those directly invited.
