Michelle and Will were first introduced on June 16, 2017 out at a restaurant where Michelle was celebrating the last day of the school year with several teachers including her friend Kathryn when her husband, Bryan (best man), and Will showed up to join in for food and drinks and then to drive them home. They talked for a while and Michelle remembers that Will made her laugh a lot. After that night, they did not see each other again for several months until Bryan and Kathryn's annual Halloween party at the end of October. Michelle and Will instantly clicked again and ended up talking the whole night and playing games with friends. That night, Will drove Michelle home and asked for her number!  They decided to go on their first date the next week, and what better way to charm someone than with a dog.. make that two! Michelle and Will decided to have their first date at a park in town and bring each of their dogs to introduce them. It was a huge success! They talked for a few more weeks and on November 26, while hanging out at Will's apartment, Will asked Michelle if they should make it official and they began the greatest journey ever, together! 

Michelle and Will love to travel together and are big foodies, enjoying trying new and regional foods as they travel. When they just need a quick get away, Boston is where you will usually find them, enjoying burritos from Anna's Taqueria and lobster tails from Mike's pastries while walking around the city. They also enjoy traveling to beautiful Colorado and have had the opportunity to go out on 3 separate occasions and they fall more in love with the Rockies every time. They enjoy hiking together and taking in the beautiful scenery. Over the years of hiking with Michelle, Will has learned to always have the first aid kit packed with them. Michelle and Will and the dogs decided to test out living together at his apartment in 2019, and as expected, it went well with all four of them and they made it official and moved into a new place all together in August of 2019. Moving in together confirmed for both of them that they were meant to be together! A year later in August of 2020, Michelle and Will took a big jump and purchased a Ford Transit van and began the project of converting the van into a campervan to travel in along with the dogs! This project came with a lot of curve balls and learning and teaching moments but they have worked together through it all and grown through the process. In May of 2021, the van was ready for her maiden voyage to the Green Mountains in Vermont!

Memorial Day weekend, Michelle and Will took the van to the Green Mountains in Vermont for a two night get away for the first time in the van! They made it up and found a campsite late at night and decided to call it for the night and went to bed. They woke up in the morning, enjoyed some food and took off to find a better campsite for the second night. After stumbling upon what seemed like the last site available in the area (but one of the best), they set up site and began collecting fire wood. After getting the wet wood to light with his blow torch, Will asked Michelle if they could change and take some pictures since he had recently gotten into doing photography and had his digital camera and tripod with him! Michelle was happy to support anything he wanted to do and did not think anything of him setting up the tripod and wanting to take pictures. After a few test shots to make sure he had everything in focus he wanted, he turned the video record on his phone, he hit the timer on the camera, and ran over to Michelle and dropped down to one knee! Michelle was completely surprised and began crying and screaming with joy! Following the proposal, they took some pictures and then spent the rest of the night by the fire, talking about THEIR future! And so.. the Love Story continues..
