Will and I first locked eyes with each other at an event where one of our favorite artist was performing. We eyed each other a couple times but neither of us had the courage to come up and speak to the other.. A couple days later, while speaking to a mutual friend who was also there that night, I started ranting and raving about the type of man that I like. I jokingly mentioned "your friend that was at the event the other night is my type!" And he said "Willow?! Oh, I can put you on!" I told him, please do! Later that day he went to Will's house and called me on FaceTime to have us formally introduce ourselves. We talked for a bit and he asked me for my number, which I gladly gave. I told him he had 24 hours to use my number or he could delete it because my time was not to be wasted. He called me the next day and we've talked every single day since. ❤️

One of the things I love about Mara is that she's always down for an adventure or new activity. That is why when I told her we were going to go hiking for the first time, she did not hesitate to say she would go. On the day of the hike, I helped pick out her outfit as best I could without giving away the surprise, but she complained that she didn't need to look fancy because we were just going hiking. She happened to have makeup on because she was recording videos and I convinced her to keep it on. After some complaining about time, attire and people coming out during covid, we finally made it to the hike. We hiked through the tough trail alongside some close family and friends. When we finally reached the top, I pulled Mara to the side. I was completely out of breath as I dropped down to my knee. Cluelessly she kept asking me if I was okay. I told her I just want to talk. I began to tell her that she was the love of my life and the best thing that has ever happened to me. As I'm speaking, our friends and family begin to approach closer. I ask Mara if she would make me the happiest man on earth by becoming my wife. With a mask and complete shock on her face - she said yes!
