Will and Madi had not been in a relationship in quite a while, both were looking for something permanent, something personal and for some reason, fate brought them to a Christian Dating app neither had ever used before. On October 6th, 2023, Will and Madi matched, and immediately connected on a level neither had understood before. Something was different. After just a couple weeks, Will made the trip to Missouri (with some complications) and took her to Morning Day Cafe, in Springfield, Missouri. Will yapped, Madi sat in silence, trying to get an understanding of who he was, what he wanted, and if she really wanted to listen to him talk his breath away the rest of her life, and admittedly, trying not to throw up out of pure anxiety. It was a simple date, and yet was enough to convince Will he had found the one. The plan was to go to Andy B's, a bowling alley and arcade. But when they arrived, a company had rented the entire place to themselves for a party, just their luck. So, they ended up at Branson Landing. It was at that outdoor mall's parking lot, in the below 32-degree weather, where Will asked Madi to be his girlfriend. Madi responded with a yes, a smile had already crept across her face. They didn't last long at the Landing, much too cold to do any real shopping. By that point however, it was close to dark, and Will needed to go home. In Arkansas. Will drove Madi home in a little rinky dink Toyota Camry. It was outside her house, where they shared their first kiss. All time stopped, and everything changed. Some say that may be too fast for a first kiss, but when you know, you just know. Madi smiled the rest of the day, and Will, well, had the flu on his 4-hour drive back home. But the flu was worth it. Even with a couple unplanned stops, the flu didn't stop a smile. And the rest is history. Since then, Madi has moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas to be with Will, and on August 17th, 2024, Will proposed. With a ring bought in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Two Rivers Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. Forever will it be - Happily Ever Stafford.
