Aside from “when’s the wedding?”, there are a two questions you’ll always get asked after getting engaged. How’d he ask? And how’d you meet? Here's Macy and Will's answers...

Macy and Will first met in high school right before the summer break of their sophomore year (2016). Will went to Crothersville and Macy went to Austin. Thankfully, the two both wanted to get their Associates Degrees causing Will to go to Austin for certain classes. Macy first caught Will’s eyes in their college prep class while Will was giving a funny presentation. The weird thing is Will noticed Macy during her presentation as well. The two were both invited to see a movie with a group of friends the weekend after noticing each other. Funny enough the two were both planning to impress each other during this unofficial date. Luckily, things worked out even though Macy choked on popcorn before the movie even started and Will wouldn't stop talking during the movie (things that still happen to this day). The third date was (of course) a movie date. Though this one was special because the two lovebirds wanted to ask each other out. Macy, being the stubborn and impatient person she is, decided to ask Will out on the drive home. To Macy’s surprise Will answered “I was going to ask you as soon as we got to your house”. Macy replied with “never mind then I’ll act like I never said anything”. The couple laughed and agreed to start dating. The couple have now been dating for 5 years. While dating they’ve graduated high school with Associates Degrees, graduated from College, lived together while at Ball State, got engaged, and have planned on loving each other for eternity.

In August of 2020 Macy and Will planned a trip to Tennessee over the summer to visit with their college friends before going back to the stressful state of being in college. Macy was unknowingly going to the place where Will would propose. Will set it up to look as if they were going to see a nearby show, however a horse and carriage appeared instead. The two rode away to a secluded area where Will popped the question. Once Will got on his knee Macy started to cry and instead of saying yes she decided to say “duhhh”. The two have been excited and impatient about their wedding day ever since...
