Some areas (Paradise and Sunrise) require timed reservations for vehicle entry as they are very popular. Make sure to plan ahead if you want to visit these specific areas
Olympic National Park

No reservations for day hikes or vehicle entry are required, but there can be long lines to get into Hurricane Ridge or the Hoh Rain Forest. The park is open 24 hours, so arriving earlier or later can help to avoid waiting
North Cascades National Park

One of the least-visited national parks, but one of the most pristine and underrated. This park is a good option if you want to avoid the crowds at Mount Rainier
