Cliff Walk
The walk along the Cliff Walk is the perfect morning or afternoon activity! Our wedding venue, the Chanler, is at the very beginning of the trailhead and the perfect spot to grab breakfast or lunch beforehand. The trail has beautiful views of the Gilded age mansions that line the shoreline. The full path takes about 2 hours to complete - make sure to wear tennis shoes!
Newport Gilded Age Mansion Trolley Tour
If you're interested in checking out Newport's gilded age architecture, we can't recommend a Trolley Mansion tour enough! We've linked a tour that includes admission to the Breakers, one of the most iconic historic mansions in Newport.
Clarke Cooke House
One of our favorite restaurants in Newport and a beloved Newport institution. Clarke Cooke House is the perfect spot for a night out in the historic Newport Harbor. Book reservations for dinner in advance!
Castle Hill Inn
Castle Hill Inn is our favorite spot to catch the sunset in Newport! They have a great lawn with an outdoor bar and a beautiful restaurant inside. We recommend getting to the lawn around 5 pm to snag some Adirondack chairs!
Gooseberry Beach
One of our favorite local beaches in Newport! Parking passes required and available for day-of purchase. We recommend getting to the beach early as passes do sell out! Newport has several beautiful beaches. Check out the link above for more!
