What should I wear to the Wedding and the Reception?

Answer

The attire for both events is Formal. That means no jeans, athletic attire, jerseys, ripped clothing, running shoes, etc. Ladies: cocktail dresses or formal summer dresses are fine. Wear whichever shoes you like, except flipflops. We would prefer that you are comfortable at our wedding. The ceremony will be on the grass, so think twice about stilettos. Gentlemen: Blazers, buttondowns, or suits. Ties are not required. Nice sneakers or dress shoes are ok.

Can I bring a friend to the wedding?

Answer

All guests will be given a +1 on their invitations (spouse or guest). If we know the spouse/partner's name, it will already be on the invitation.

Can I bring my child to the wedding or reception?

Answer

If your child's name was not on the invitation we sent, we expect you to make other arrangements for your child. The venue for our wedding and reception is a Winery/Vineyard. It is not child-safe and there is not a play room or child-specific area there. If you were invited to our wedding, that means that we love you and we want you to be part of this special occasion. We also love that you have a family and we will understand if you cannot attend due to not being able to get a sitter for the day/night/weekend. We hope you understand our decision, and can respect our wishes for you to leave your little ones with a trusted guardian or sitter.
