The morning before my birthday, Will asked if I wanted my present early. After telling him to wait multiple times (and him insisting multiple times) I finally caved. He told me to start making coffee for our traditional Sunday morning breakfast while he went to get it. My back was to him as he entered the kitchen. When I turned to face him he was holding the open ring box in front of him and said "Will you marry me?" I, of course, had to be difficult and made him get down on one knee. I was crying and hugged him as he asked, "So, what is your answer?" I laughed and replied "I'm not sure; I think I need to wear the ring for a little while before I decide." Then quickly I added that, of course, it was a yes. Our beautiful story began in the kitchen of our first home; while I was wearing ruffled pajamas and a messy bun. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal story.
