What is the Dress Code?
Answer
We're going for a relaxed but dressed-up look. A step above business casual, but not quite as formal as cocktail attire. Think comfortable, neat, and slightly elevated. Nothing overly fancy.

What can men wear?
Answer
Men are welcome to wear dress jeans with a sport coat, or slacks if preferred. Button-downs, sport coats, and dress shoes all fit the vibe.

What can women wear?
Answer
Women can wear dresses, skirts, or dressy pants in any style. Choose whatever feels comfortable and slightly elevated. The venue includes grass, gravel, and a concrete floor, so we strongly recommend comfortable shoes and avoiding high heels.

Are children invited?
Answer
We adore your little ones, and we’re excited to celebrate with a small group of children from our immediate families. Because of space and safety considerations at the venue, only the children listed on the invitation are included for the wedding day.

How will I know if my child is invited?
Answer
If your child is part of the celebration, their name will appear on your invitation. If their name is not listed, the invitation is for the adults only.

What are lodging and transportation options?
Answer
Our venue is in a rural area with no shuttle, taxi, or rideshare (Uber/Lyft). All guests will need to drive, or arrange a personal shuttle. If you're staying in a vacation rental on or off Cumberland Ridge Road, golf cart rentals are available for the weekend (details below). VACATION RENTALS This is lake country, with many rentals within 5-10 minutes of the Big Red Barn. Search "Monticello, KY" on Airbnb (https://www.airbnb.com) or VRBO (https://www.vrbo.com) and use map view to find places closest to: 219 Cumberland Cemetery Road, Monticello, KY Some rentals listed as "Monticello" may be 35+ minutes away on dark rural roads, so stay as close to the above area as possible. Some default to a 3-night minimum; message the owner about a shorter stay since this is low season.
