Will and I met at the University of North Alabama where he played baseball and I played volleyball. Through mutual friends, we knew each other before we dated. During the summer before my sophomore year (Will's junior year), we got to hang out around our friend group. I thought Will was super cute, and we hit it off immediately. One of the first things we did together was go to church. I knew Will loved the Lord, which was the most important factor in starting our relationship. After a week at home before volleyball preseason, I couldn't wait to get back and see Will. When we got back to school, we spent almost every day together. Will and I spent most of our time laughing together, and I knew I was crazy about him when he helped take care of me after having surgery. Over the last three and a half years, I have grown closer to the Lord and to Will in the best ways. He is patient, kind, selfless, and faithful. I couldn't have found a better man to spend the rest of my life with. The Lord has blessed our relationship, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life loving Will and serving the Lord together.
Throughout the first few years of college, I had seen Katy around and thought she was so cute. We had many similar friend groups through athletics. In August of 2022, we both got back to Florence from the summer to start the fall semester of my junior (her sophomore) year. Both us and our friends were out in downtown Florence one night, and we hit it off immediately. The next Sunday morning, I invited her and her sister to church with me. She gladly accepted, and I immediately knew I was all in on her. Her faith and love for the Lord were evident from the get-go, and it only made me fall harder for her. We continued to hang out for the next month before we made it official, and the rest is history!
