McClellan's Retreat
Will recommends this local cocktail bar for lovers of history, liquor and popcorn. It is named after Civil War general George B. McClellan, fired and later defeated by Abraham Lincoln in the 1864 presidential election. See if you can find the statue of McClellan just up the road!

Teaism is a cozy spot for tea and vegetarian-friendly lunches. It was here that we had many study sessions while in graduate school. Try a salty oat cookie!

Rakuya is a lovely Japanese restaurant and was the location of one of our first meetups that did not involve any studying for graduate school. One might even say it was a date!
