What should I wear to the wedding? What about the welcome party?

Answer

Garden party / summer formal attire for the wedding. Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception are outside, so it may be quite warm in the early part of the evening. And make sure to wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass! Sassy casual for the welcome party.

It's a sassy zone between semi-formal and casual.

Do I have to stay in New Hope for the whole weekend?

Answer

The venue is only 40 minutes from Philly, so you if you live in or around Philly it would be feasible to drive home after the reception, or even after the welcome party.

Where should we stay if we're staying for the weekend?

Answer

Any B&B near the center of New Hope, or the New Hope Lodge (these will be the most affordable options within New Hope). New Hope Lodge will be best for those staying for one night, as many of the B&Bs have a two night minimum. If you want more room or more amenities, look for a hotel or an Air BnB. Lodging in New Hope tends to book up fast, so it is recommended to book a hotel, B&B, or Air BnB far in advance.

Yes, discounted rooms are available at the New Hope Lodge for either one or two night stays. Simply mention that you are a guest at our wedding when calling to reserve your stay.

Where are the bride and groom staying?

Answer

We're staying at Porches on the Towpath B&B.

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot just past the entrance, close to the reception area. The ceremony site is a few minutes walk away, at the pond on the other side of the wildflower meadow (follow the signs!).
