Friday: Light, summery cocktail outfits for a boat -- think dresses, linen, chinos, casual sportscoats, etc. Saturday: Formal short or long dresses; dark suits with ties. As much as we love your kids, we won't be able to accommodate them at our wedding ceremony and reception. We are happy to welcome them to the welcome event on the boat Friday though! If you’re traveling as a family, no problem: our hotel blocks are a short stroll from the venue, making it easy to book a sitter for Saturday.
Nope! Our blocks are simply hotels we recommend. There are tons of great spots to stay in downtown Chicago, so choose whatever fits your style.
Our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday is all indoors. However, our Friday event is on a boat with an interior option, but the best views will be on the boat deck.
We chose venues for our Friday and Saturday events that are all walking distance in downtown Chicago, so no transportation is provided. We recommend keeping this in mind if you book a hotel outside of the ones we recommended.
