Will and Erica met through the dating app Hinge, but they had been linked together long before that. Erica would attend her brother's high school soccer games but often had her attention elsewhere. She developed a crush on the goalie. Years later, the two matched and met at Primanti Bros. for their first date. They immediately had a second date the following day. On a chilly Saturday morning, Will, Erica, and their dog Millie set out for a hike in Cleveland. The trail they originally planned to hike wasn’t dog-friendly, so their plans had to change in a hurry. After some quick research, Buttermilk Falls became their next destination. When they finally arrived at the waterfall, Erica refused to stand still, determined to get the perfect pictures with Millie.
