Question

How do I find the ceremony event space?

Answer

Following directions to Madtree Alcove will take you to the bar entrance on Vine Street. The event space entrance is around the corner to the right on East 14th street. There will be a sign on the door.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever makes you happy. We can’t promise that no one will judge you for wearing sweatpants or your own wedding dress from the 80s, but the two of us won’t mind.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 10:00, so please arrive by 9:50 and remember to account for downtown parking.

Question

Will I need to travel between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope. It’s all at the same venue.

Question

Is there parking for the event?

Answer

Not really. Alcove is in OTR and doesn’t have its own parking lot. There are multiple public parking lots and garages nearby, though. Plan on carpooling and count on walking a block or so. (It sucks, we know.)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely. Please feel free to bring your kids. Just remember to include them when you RSVP. We’ll do all we can to make the reception kid friendly, but little ones will probably still find it super boring. Your kids are welcome to bring toys or games from home if they like. Connie has trouble with grown-up parties too, little dudes; we get it!

Question

What food options will be available?

Answer

We will have a brunch buffet at the reception, as well as chicken tenders and fries for the kids (and Will).

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yep! It’s a page on this website. Please don’t feel pressured to give a gift, though. We will be beyond grateful just to see you at the wedding. 💛
