* The Floridian: Locally owned by a good friends' in-laws, offering some of the best food in St. Aug! (http://www.thefloridianstaug.com/) * The Ice Plant: Super cool restaurant situated in an original ice plant building. (https://iceplantbar.com/)
Sun bathe on the beach, catch a wave, fish off the pier, or watch the sun rise and set. Whatever you choose, just don't miss the opportunity to relax and soak it in.
Locally-owned restaurants we highly recommend: * Flagler Fish Company: Enjoy surf and turf at our friend Chris's restaurant. (http://www.flaglerfishandbeefcompany.com/) * Island Grill: Our friend Gary crafts delicious seafood cuisine from the historic house overlooking the ocean. The wasabi salmon is one of our favorite of his concoctions! (http://theislandgrille.com/) * Ohana Food Co.: Go visit our friends Jimmie and Jen for fresh, delicious, and nutritious food! We love the acai and poke bowls, all made fresh on site. (https://ohanafoodco.square.site/) * Captain’s BBQ: Our Chris serves up the best BBQ in the area with a great view overlooking the Matanzas River to watch to the sunset. (https://www.captainsbbq.com/) * The Waffle Cone Ice Cream: Cool off from the beach with a big scoop of ice cream from our favorite downtown shop (http://thewafflecone.com/)
Simply gorgeous and so peaceful. The inlet, between St. Aug. and Flagler Beach, is where the Atlantic meets the Matanzas Estuary. A kiteboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and boating paradise. Fun fact: This is where Clarissa badly sprained her ankle while surfing with Will, and he had to carry her all the way back to the car. *face palm*
Enjoying this park is as easy as strolling around and enjoying the peace and beauty of the towering oak trees with cascading spanish moss.
