Our Story
Our love story begins at the bar Kangaroo & Kiwi in Ballard in 2021. When Caroline had invited some friends over to her place before going out, one of them brought his two roommates along - one of them being Will. Will and Caroline met, and the rest is history! These past four years, we have loved exploring Seattle, walking to new restaurants, traveling, spending time with friends, trying to beat each other at Catan, solving crosswords together, moving in, getting engaged, and most of all simply being by each other’s side. Thank you for being a part of our journey! We look forward to celebrating with you all on our big day. Here are some pictures from our story together so far.
September 2021. One of our very first photos together! We had just started dating.

January 2022. Our first hike together at Little Si in North Bend, Washington. We love our Evergreen State!
February 2022. On a trip with friends to Leavenworth, we said “I love you” for the first time! And we have said it every day since :)
April 2022. Caroline’s first “Hometown Date” to Santa Cruz and Saratoga (reference for you Bachelor fans). I think it’s safe to say she got the rose!
May 2022. Windy City selfie! Caroline moved to Chicago for a couple months for a work rotation, and we did all the tourist activities when Will visited.
August 2022. Will’s first tennis lesson! Caroline has had fun teaching Will how to play her favorite sport.
October 2022. One of our first weddings together!
May 2023. Our first trip overseas together! We visited Will’s sister Claire in London and took the train through the Chunnel to Paris.

December 2023. As proud Gonzaga alums, we are hoping that Gonzaga wins their next annual “Battle in Seattle.”
June 2024. Not only are we smiling at the Mariners win, but this was taken the day that we moved in with each other!
July 2024. Chris Stapleton concert! We love going to concerts together.
October 2024. Caroline is attending in-person classes in the evenings for her MBA at UW, which results in late class nights. Will bakes the best chocolate chip cookies as a study treat!
January 2025. While Caroline is teaching Will tennis, Will is teaching Caroline how to ski!
March 2025. In our après outfits in Park City!
On March 15, 2025, as a rainbow appeared in the sky after off-and-on rain all day, Will asked Caroline to marry him on San Juan Island in Washington. It was the easiest yes ever!
