Flight
Flint is the closest airport (25 miles) to our venue. It is a smaller airport than Detroit but still services many airlines. Rental cars, taxis, and Uber/Lyft are available at FNT.

Detroit Metro is the largest airport in the state and is 50 miles from our venue. DTW will offer the most variety for flight times and airlines.
Hotel
We have reserved the Friendship and Sunshine lodges on-site at Waldenwoods for out-of-town guests to stay Friday night. If you request a room in Sunshine, and availability permits, you will be responsible for the cost of the room ($110/night). We have already PAID FOR the entire Friendship Lodge- if you choose to book a room in Friendship it will be at no cost to you. If you are interested in reserving one of these rooms, please call Waldenwoods and mention the Viele/Hard wedding.

Courtyard by Marriott- Detroit Brighton is approximately 10 miles from Waldenwoods. Rooms can be reserved for $149/night. You can book over the phone or online - mention the Viele/Hard wedding to get the room block rate. If you choose to book online, the codes are: "VHWVHWB" for two queens, and "VHWVHWA" for one king *NOTE* Reservations must be made prior to June 19, 2019 or the room block will be released!! Best Western of Hartland is located approximately 1 mile from Waldenwoods. Rooms can be reserved for ~$139/night.

There are two entrances to Waldenwoods. To get to our ceremony and reception, please be sure to use the entrance on Old US 23
