Miradouro de Santa Luzia
This serene viewpoint introduces visitors to Lisbon's Old Town, the Alfama. It's a landscaped terrace and one of the city's most romantic spots.
Praça do Comércio
This is one of the most beautiful squares in all Europe, opening southwards onto the huge Tagus estuary. Until the era of mass aviation, this was Lisbon´s great reception hall for visitors arriving by sea even better able to enjoy its beauty from their vantage points on slowly docking vessels.
Castelo de São Jorge
Since the 12th century, Saint George's Castle has served as a royal palace, a military barracks, home of the Torre do Tombo National Archive, and now as an iconic national monument and museum. The castle is located at a higher point of the city and overlooks the historical center of Lisbon.
Cervejaria Trindade
Trindade is the most beautiful and ancient brewery in Portugal. Trindade is an historical monument: once a convent, it survived a major earthquake, recovered from two fires and bravely endured the passage of time. Today Trindade is renovated as a seafood and specialties brewery, bar and museum.
Manteigaria - Pastéis de Nata
Manteigaria carefully perfected the most famous Portuguese dessert "Pastel de Nata" (egg custard tart pastry, optionally dusted with cinnamon). This place is today an unavoidable reference in Portuguese pastry, recognized not only by the Portuguese but also by foreigners.
Sintra
