Things To Do
What to do in and around Charleston
Places to eat:
Charleston is chock full of great places to eat. Choose anywhere, you can’t go wrong!
Here are some of our favorites:
Bowens Island Seafood restaurant- Go for the oysters, stay for the view. Link it with a trip to Folly Beach for convenience.
Circa 1886
Husk Bar
Places to drink:
The Gin Joint
The Royal American (dive bar)
Edmund’s Oast,
Things to do:
Hit the beach- Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island, and Isle of Palms each have their own charms.
Things Will and/or Anna love:
Take a walk down Church St after dark- Start at Broad St, take your time, and walk south until it ends at the Battery. Enjoy the gas lamps and quiet. You can pair this with the welcome party- it is right next door.
Walk around the dirt roads and old oaks of the town of Rockville- This sleepy village at the end of the road on Wadmalaw Island is a bit of a drive, but it’s worth it if you’re looking for the SC lowcountry as it is meant to be.
