How They Met

12.05.2014

They met at a high school basketball game at PVHS. Will was picking up his friend Dylan from wrestling practice, and they decided to stay for the basketball games taking place. After watching Amy play in her game, the boys game was about to begin. Amy came out of the locker room with her friends ready to sit in their normal student section spot to cheer on the boys, when they noticed 3 guys sitting in the section they didn't know. They sat behind them, and it turned out Sami knew one of the guys. His name was Will and he had recently bought and moved into the house Sami grew up in that her father had built. The guys turned around and started some small talk. Will bent down to tie his shoe and tied it so fast Amy was amazed. She wanted to learn his method and how he did it. He ended up spending half the game trying to teach her because she couldn't figure it out. While attempting to teach her to tie her shoes, 'the gun way' they laughed and got to know each other the whole game, and the rest, as they say, is history . . .

A Story To Make You Laugh

12.11.2014

Amy's first time at Will's house and their second time ever meeting, she went over with her friend Sami. Will thought it would be fun to have a pull-up competition on the bar. Amy being the competitive person she is, sprinted around the corner of the house toward the pull-up bar and went to swing on it to go into the next room, and as she grabbed it, it collapsed off the door frame and she fell 5 feet and smashed her back onto the step below her and hit her ankle so hard off the floor she ended up spraining it. Being the champ she is, she refused to cry in front of these boys she barely knew (Will, Sean, and Dylan). Whenever she looked at them she had a smile on her face and acted as though she was fine, but when she looked at Sami she made faces of only the worst imaginable pain. Sami being the wonderful friend she is kept offering for Amy to go to the bathroom with her (so Amy could cry in peace), Amy being the terrible friend she is responded, "Jeez Sami go to the bathroom yourself, you used to live here." All the boys made fun of her for wanting to go to the bathroom with Amy that they forgot about the embarrassing accident. At the end of it all Amy was out for the next couple of basketball games because of her injuries and everyone blamed Will.

The Proposal

12.31.2017

It was New Years Eve and Will wanted to have a small get together at his parents house in Blue Hill. Everyone drove up to their house and played games all night and had lots of laughs. It was getting close to midnight and Will was no where to be found. Kristi suggested her and Amy needed to go outside and get a picture with all the Christmas decorations and lights. Amy was frantically searching for Will because it was almost midnight and she wanted to watch the ball drop, but agreed to stop and take a picture with her. As Amy is putting on her boots Kristi hands her a letter and said, "Will wants me to give this to you." Amy was frazzled and confused but took the 3 page paper (front and back) and began to read it. As she was reading it she felt anxious because she wasn't sure why he would write a letter and have her friend give it to her . . . so naturally she skimmed it, because that's the type of person she is. After Amy finished "reading" the letter, she handed it back to Kristi and was preparing to go outside. As Amy opened the door, she noticed rose petals leading down the stairs and as she looked up, Will was at the bottom holding a bouquet of roses and a ring box in his hand. Will said some grand speech Amy doesn't even remember because she was too excited, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes, and then it was midnight, and they kissed.
