Officiant
Nick is the best big brother to Whitney. Growing up he was Whitney's first friend and has become one of her best friends and confidants. Having a dependable older brother is definitely something that Whitney appreciates and the fact that Will and Nick have also become close means so much to her. Being able to have Nick officiate the wedding and add his personal touch will make the day even that much more special for Whitney and Will.

Alicia is Will's big sister and soon to be sister-in-law of Whitney. She has welcomed Whitney with open arms into their family. Having physical distance within a family can be tough, but Alicia’s loving heart is the glue that keeps her family as tight as it’s ever been. She has recently moved to Red Wing with her fiancé, Jade, and they’ve quickly become the center piece for family gatherings. Alicia is kind enough to be reading a few passages that are meaningful to Will and Whitney during the ceremony.
Matron of Honor
Kelly and Whitney first met through volleyball camp at the YMCA. Throughout volleyball leagues, tournaments and camps their friendship grew into a one that will last a lifetime. As one of her best friends, Kelly is the shoulder that Whitney has always known is available to cry on and the friend that she goes to when a good belly laugh is needed. Kelly isn't afraid to give some tough love, which Whitney appreciates more that she can say. Even though they don't get to see each other as much as they would like, Whitney always knows that Kelly is just a phone call or, more likely, a text away.
Maid of Honor
Dani and Whitney met on the first day of kindergarten when they sat by each other on the school bus. Ever since, Whitney has considered Dani one of her best friends. No matter the distance between them or the time between conversations, the minute that they get together it's as if no time has passed and they pick up right where they left off. From traveling to London together or road tripping from Seattle to bring Dani back to Minnesota this is a friendship that Whitney knows will be lifelong.
Bridesmaid
With no sisters growing up and only a big brother and his friends to look up to, Whitney couldn't have been more excited when Calli and Nick got married and she finally got the sister that she always wanted. Calli is a fantastic sounding board whenever Whitney has a dilemma and gives honest advice. Even when Whitney doesn't necessarily like it. :) Whitney even has Calli to thank for Will asking her out on their first date. When he approached Calli to ask if it would be alright if he asked Whitney out, Calli, thinking that he may be too young and immature, said no. Luckily, he saw that as an opportunity to prove her wrong and asked Whitney anyway...the rest is history. Will still enjoys pushing Calli's buttons and I'm sure he’ll continue to do so.
Best Man
Will and Tyler first became friends in grade school when their families moved just down the road from one another. After becoming close with the Malecha Family, Will quickly realized how much motivation Tyler brings to his peers. From the early days of their friendship, Will has appreciated the honesty and sense of guidance that Tyler brings to their relationship. To this day, their peers refer to Tyler as Will’s “life coach”.
Groomsman
Luke and Will have been friends since their elementary days when they started racing motocross together. Their families have spent countless weekends together at the race track for the better part of a decade. When you find these two boys together, you can bet they are laughing as they relive their racing stories. Making people feel happy and loved are just a few of Luke’s best attributes, which is why these two will forever be best friends.
Junior Bridesmaid
Charlette, or better known as Charlee, is the niece of Whitney and soon to be "official" niece of Will. Charlee is the epitome of a princess in the best way possible. She is loving, honest, warm and friendly and loves all things girly. Whitney knows that Charlee will give her honest feedback when asked about fashion, hair and especially which dress she wants to wear to her auntie's wedding. Charlee is Whitney's favorite dance partner, which Will doesn't mind, and she can't wait to dance the night away with Charlee.
Flower Girl
Barrett is the niece of Whitney and soon to be "official" niece of Will. Better known as The Beez, Beezy, Beezer, and Beez Louise, she is the perfect blend of girly girl and tom boy. She isn't afraid to get a little, or very dirty, but she will do it while wearing her sparkly, silver heels. Will and Beezer have a special relationship and Whitney gets a little jealous when Will gets the first hug from her. Beezy is the definition of a free spirit and dances to the beat of her own drum.
Ring Bearer
Marek is the nephew of Whitney and soon to be "official" nephew of Will. Marek holds a special place in Whits (Marek's nickname for her) heart since he gave her the title Auntie. You can usually find Marek in his "media" room, aka dad's office, playing video games or outside playing in his brand new tree house. He's a great big brother, most of the time, and Will and Whits can't wait to watch him floss all night on the dance floor.
Personal Attendant
Michelle and Whitney first met at RipWing CrossFit in Red Wing. Not long after, Michelle became Whitney's hair guru as well. Working out and salon time may have been how they originally connected, but over the years that time spent together has led to a lasting friendship. From traveling to Colorado, to spending many summer days on river together, the future Doanes always look forward to seeing the Dunlap family. Michelle has been an irreplaceable resource when it comes to the wedding planning process and Whitney could not be more grateful that she is willing to be with her throughout this special day.
