What’s the closest airport?
Answer
Erie International (ERI) is the closest, but most guests will find more flight options in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Buffalo (about 2 hours away).

Should I rent a car?
Answer
You will need to rent a car to get from the airports. Erie is a drivable city, and you’ll likely want a car for exploring. We do have an old promo code that still works from my old job! What’s the dress code?

Cocktail attire (dresses, dressy separates). The Erie Yacht Club is on the waterfront. Chic but not black-tie.

Where should I stay?

Erie has plenty of hotels. Many are near the bayfront, downtown, and Presque Isle. We’ll post room block info soon. There is currently a link available in the Travel section for discounted online booking.

What’s the weather like in June?
Answer
Erie in mid-June is usually warm (70s–80s), but evenings by the water can be breezy. Pack a light layer.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, the Erie Yacht Club has on-site parking.

What about rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft in Erie?
Answer
Uber and Lyft do operate in Erie, though availability can sometimes be limited during peak times.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors by the lake. Dinner and dancing will be indoors at the Yacht Club, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available for socializing throughout the evening.

What kind of food and drink will be served?
Answer
There will be an open bar and appetizers before and after the ceremony. Dinner options include dinner salad and choice of Filet Mignon, Chicken, or Halibut. Please make your dinner selection along with your RSVP. Let us know if you have special dietary restrictions; the venue can accommodate! We’ll make sure everyone has something delicious to enjoy!
