Erin and Kevin were both involved in an organization in high school called Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). They met through the organization and were close friends for years. In the summer of 2016, after 8 years of friendship, they finally got the timing right.

Erin was suspicious, the timing seemed right. But Kevin played it cool and threw her off the scent. The very first hike on our first day of a long weekend he dropped to one knee overlooking Lake Michigan and popped the question with a confused Chance showing more interest in the photographer than whatever was happening behind him. The perfect way to kick off a vacation!
