After talking on Hinge for a few days, we decided to go on a date. We seemed to have a lot in common, and so much to talk about already. We met at Nico & Valli in downtown Plymouth. It turns out, one of Nick's friends from college was our waiter! Thanks Joe! Nick learned that I have cold hands all the time, and it was worse at the restaurant. It was freezing in there. We talked so much, it felt like we had known each other for a long time. The bill came, and Nick hadn't even finished his salad! We decided we needed more time to talk, so we continued the date at Zap Zone for Glo Golf & Arcade games. When I walked up to the door, Nick was standing there with hand warmers from his car. I was completely shocked, not only did he listen, but he cared. They did help my hands warm up. (: We continued talking & laughing, and playing putt putt. We got to a hole where the rug was wrinkled and messed up. Nick decided to fix it, not only for us, but for other people that would play next. I was shocked again. I had never been around a man this kind before. He truly cares so much about others. Just spending time with him on one date made me excited for the potential our relationship could have. It did. We learned more about each other, had the hard conversations, spent time together and formed a strong connection. Even Josie decided she liked Nick the first time she met him. It was our 2nd date, and he came to my house (now our house) to pick me up. No, Josie wasn't his dog originally, we get asked this A LOT. She was my baby first, but after meeting Nick, she was our baby. <3 The rest is history, our relationship has only grown better with time. We are thankful we found each other, and are so grateful to spend the rest of our lives together! <3
