They met in the most romantic way you could, online...on bumble. On their first date they grabbed a beer in the afternoon at a local Fort Collins favorite, The Forge. Andrew, as he always does when he dresses up, wore a Hawaiian shirt and Savannah was instantly smitten. As they began the awkward explanation of who they were, what they liked, the meaning of life, bathroom schedules, etc, etc, awkwardness quickly shifted to laughter. What became just a beer transitioned to, "Wanna grab dinner". That night they spent their time engulfed in constant giggles. They instantly clicked. Soon they went on a second date, a picnic at the park. Andrew, as he always does when dressing casual, wore his "house shoes" aka slippers. As he parked and pulled up to meet Savannah she looked down at his slippers and said "you know we are walking there right?". Andrew nodded and said "oh I know". Then Savannah looked at all the things he brought with him: a blanket, a cooler full of snacks and drinks, and a speaker. He came prepared and she liked that. As they sat in the park Andrew proceeded to play every parody song he knew with full detail as to why he liked it. Savannah, wrapped up like a burrito in the blanket, listened as she thought "wow this guy is just as weird as me". From that date on, they were inseparable. Fast forward to the present, we own a beautiful home together that we have been renovating and two adorable pups named Suki and Momo. We spend our days in constant laughter, making delicious meals, and creating the perfect home.
