If flying from Boston your best bet is going to be to fly into Norfolk airport (in Virginia). Corolla is about a 1.5 hour car ride from Norfolk (this is the reason Corolla wasn't our Plan A). From Norfolk there are two options: 1. Rent a car from the airport, it's a REALLY easy and beautiful drive from Norfolk to the outer banks and the cost is about $300/week for a rental. You wouldn't be sad to have your own car to go see the sights either! 2. We know of a reliable company that will drive you from the airport to Corolla for $150 per carload each way. We have rented 2 large homes to host the event at, there are 21 bedrooms between the two houses and there is still some space available at a cost of about $500 per bedroom for the week. If you don't wish to stay with the majority of the wedding party there are other options. Rentals of beautiful beach vacation homes are super affordable this time of year, Twiddy and Village Realty are two very reputable and well known companies on the Outer Banks and you could easily find your own beautiful rental to share or to have alone. Our houses are in the Whalehead Beach community but as long as you're in Corolla you won't be far away from us! There are hotel options as well for those who might not want to stay for an entire week!
