Question

1. What is the dress code?

Answer

We would like to ask you to wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail dress or dressy separates for women. A collared shirt, jacket, and/or tie are required for men. The venue does not allow blue jeans, hats, or sneakers. Our suggested colors for our wedding are pastels and neutral colors, but any color choice is also fine!

2. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless your children are listed on your invite and when you RSVP, this is an adult-only event. We will provide a babysitting service to families traveling with their children to help with their care during the ceremony and reception!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest's name is listed on our invite and when you RSVP, yes! Otherwise, we will keep our wedding to our close friends and family.

3. Can I have my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all guests be unplugged and present during the ceremony. We want to give our photographer the best opportunity to get unobstructed photos of us and everyone sharing this memorable day with us.

4. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar from 5 PM-10 PM during cocktail hour and the reception. However, bringing a small amount of cash to tip the bartenders is appreciated!

5. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that guests arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony starts so they can get settled before the proceedings. The ceremony will take place at the lakefront and requires a small walk from the parking lot. A golf cart shuttle will be provided to assist guests who prefer not to walk starting at 3:30 PM. There are no assigned seats at the ceremony. We would love for all our guests, regardless of ties to the bride and groom, to integrate on both sides of the aisle. Please keep in mind that the first row is reserved for family.

6. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception occur indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside. The reception will be in a tented indoor area.

7. Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

All parking is free at the venue, and ample parking throughout the property. Due to the ceremony and reception being at the same place, no transportation will be provided to guests, other than the golf cart shuttle to assist with the transport from the parking lot to the ceremony space. There is NO guest parking at the lakefront; please park at the Interlaken Inn. There will be very clear signs for directions when you arrive.
