Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online by August 25, 2021. Just click on the RSVP tab. If you encounter any issues, please email Kate at katewiley22@gmail.com. If you have previously RSVP'd and plan on attending in September, no need to do anything. If you need to change your RSVP for any reason, please update it via the RSVP tab or email Kate at katewiley22@gmail.com.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden party attire please -- florals, sundresses, etc. Ties optional! The ceremony and reception are outside on grass and wood chips. DC weather is variable--keep an eye on the forecast!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will depart the Hilton Garden Inn for the Fairfax Hunt Club at 12:00pm. It is approximately a 40 minute ride. The shuttle will leave the Hunt Club at 5:30pm to return everyone to the city. Please remember to include in your RSVP if you plan on taking the shuttle. There is plenty of parking available at the venue as well should you prefer to drive yourself.

Question

Rumor is that you are married already? And you have a kid?

Answer

Both of these are true! The pandemic obviously changed our plans quite a bit. We signed our marriage license over slices of pizza at Atlas Brewing on 9/25/20 and are excited to finally be able to exchange vows and celebrate with our loved ones on our one-year anniversary. We welcomed our son, Miles Wiley Egan, on May 16, 2021. We can't wait for you to meet him!

Are kids welcome? Will Miles be there?

Answer

Kids are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception at the Fairfax Hunt Club--should their parents wish them to! Miles will be in attendance, stealing all attention from his parents.

Will Coda be there?

Answer

Coda will not be attending, saving everyone's nice clothing from paw prints and dog fur. She's pretty mad about it! We lost our beloved pup Toqui in 2020 but know he is with us in spirit on our wedding day.
