It was Winter - February 2012. Patty had moved to Ocean City, Maryland after college graduation, and Wiley was living in Arnold, MD starting his career in Human Resources. Patty and Wiley met through mutual friends and soon became friends themselves; little did they know that love was very much in the air! After a couple of weeks, Wiley invited Patty to a Super Bowl Party at his friend's house, where Patty took full advantage of meeting new friends and his family. Fast forward a few months later, Wiley and Patty were celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Ocean City when Wiley got down on one knee at Macky's Bar & Grill. Wiley FINALLY asked her to be his girlfriend! They have been happily together for 5 years before celebrating one of the best moments of their lives....

After 5 years, 2 very adorable pups and their recent house purchase in Pasadena, MD - Wiley popped the question at Boordy Vineyards, in Hyde's, MD on July 1, 2017. The day began with a phone call from his Best Man Jake, who had come up with an elaborate story to tell Wiley & Patty he could no longer attend their planned double date. Little did Patty know, this was only the start to what would become a perfect day. Wiley set up a private tour of Boordy Vineyards and a private tasting of the wines afterwards. During the tasting, Wiley asked the staff to take a few pictures when he got down on one knee and popped the question! After many (many, many) happy tears, Patty finally said YES! They spent the rest of the day celebrating their engagement with family and friends.
