I thought we were just high-school best friends, prom dates, band buddies, ...BUT he knew we would be much more! When we graduated we went our separate ways to college and didn't realize our paths were destined to cross again. In the summer of 2018 Andrew messaged me needing a summer job and being the good friend I am, I gave him a chance to work for me at a restaurant I managed. We spent the whole summer together. When Andrew left to go back to college I knew something was wrong. I realized then, Andrew was meant to be more than my friend. So, one night (at like 2AM), I sent Andrew a sweet text message asking for him to be my boyfriend. Of course, he said yes and we were thrilled to finally be together. HOWEVER, he was at college in a different state and I was still in Texas. I had to wait a very long year and a half for Andrew to graduate and come home. There were times we didn't get to see each other for months and I didn't feel like we were going to make it, but God saw us through it. Fast forward, now here we are with Andrew home and me anxiously awaiting for him to ask the most important question of our relationship thus far. On November 3rd, 2020 (yes, it was election day) he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage, and I said with complete excitement YES! YES! YES! So here we are now awaiting our wedding day and being able to celebrate with our friends and family. We love each other beyond words and can not wait to see everyone on our special day.
