We met at Summer Celebration the summer of 2015. Clint & I didn't really hit it off there.... at all.. Fast forward to October 2016.. I came to Havre to visit my family with the hopes to see my friend Mollie. She wasn't in town and told me that I should hangout with Clint (I was like uhh.. who's Clint?) Mollie the Matchmaker gave Clint my phone number and he had asked to hangout, but i decided to hangout with family instead. We continued to talk and ended up hanging out when he came to Billings that next weekend for his football game against Rocky Mountain College (GO BEARS!). For the next 5 months, I would drive up to Havre almost every or every other weekend to see him. I decided at that point, something needed to change. In March of 2017, I decided to move to Havre to be closer to him and to family here. On November 10, 2018, Clint made me the happiest woman in the entire world by asking me to be his wife, in front of all of our friends and family. ♥️

November 10, 2018 was senior night for Clint. Although Clint wasn't able to play much, due to having to have surgery halfway through the season, it was a day to celebrate all of the hard work he had put in the last 4 years at MSU-N. Tons of family and friends made the trip to Havre to either witness, or walk along side Clint as he was announced. After making our way through the long line of Clint's teammates, it was time to take pictures. Clint requested that him and I got a picture together (which he never does, ever ha). As we got together, everybody had their phone out taking a "picture" of us. While we were posing for our pictures, Clint moved away from me (which then i looked at him like "what are you doing?!), and I then realized that Clint was getting down on one knee. My heart stopped. (I know in the video it looked like I'm mad, but I really was just so shocked I didn't know what to do lol). Clint was able to get out the words "Danielle Jo Ostwalt, Will You Marry Me?" OF COURSE, I said YES and snatched that ring so fast, before he changed his mind 😉 I am so glad that all of the family and friends were there to witness this moment, as it was one of the best days of my life.
