Yes, we kindly request formal attire. Think elevated, elegant, and "evening chic" - nothing that says "Sunday brunch" and certainly not "Target run". For women: Long gowns or dressy midi dresses in elegant fabrics. A sharp, evening-ready jumpsuit works too. For men: Dark suit and tie with dress shoes. No tux needed - we're keeping things classy, not black-tie-intense. What to skip: jeans, shorts, sneakers, polos, anything denim, and anything that says "I might grill later". We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and looking their best so the whole evening has a cohesive, timeless look.
Please RSVP by Friday, December 12th. It helps us finalize headcounts, seating, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps the day running smoothly. Plus, replying on time earns you instant gold-star guest energy. If you can take a minute to submit your RSVP by then, we’ll love you forever (and your seat will definitely love you back).
Your invitation will show exactly who’s invited. If your envelope includes “and guest” or lists a partner by name, then yes — please feel free to bring them. When you RSVP, just add their name so we know who to save a seat (and dessert) for. If the invitation is addressed only to you, that simply means the invitation is just for you. We promise nothing was personal… just the reality of venues, budgets, and making the seating chart behave. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be mostly adults-only so everyone (including parents!) can relax and enjoy the evening. A few older kids have been invited based on space, logistics, and family involvement, but there’s no larger kids’ guest list beyond that. If your invitation includes your children by name, then they’re absolutely invited. If not, we hope you can enjoy a well-deserved night out — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM so you can get settled, find your seat, and soak in the pre-ceremony vibes. We’ll begin shortly after and we’d love everyone comfortably in place before the music starts. Plus, showing up right at 4 gives you prime seat-picking power. Just saying.
Yes! We set up a room block at the Hampton Inn in Cleburne so guests have an easy, comfy place to stay. All the details — rates, booking link, and deadlines — are listed on the Travel tab. Book early, sleep happily.
The ceremony and reception will be indoors, but cocktail hour will be outside. If it’s chilly, we’ll have heaters ready to keep things cozy. Still, you may want to dress with the cooler temps in mind.
