Travel Note
Our wedding will be located in McKenzie Bridge, OR, which is a small community along the McKenzie River. We highly recommend booking lodging ASAP, as the options can be somewhat limited. There are two hotels in the area, and a handful of properties with multiple cabins to rent, or individually-operated cabins/vacation homes. *Please scroll to see sections below with more detailed lodging information!* — There will be some festivities starting on Friday, 10/3/25 (welcome hike in the morning, and welcome party in the evening). We encourage getting to McKenzie Bridge by Friday morning to enjoy the full celebration!
Flight
The Eugene airport is about 1hr 15min from McKenzie Bridge, and is one of the two best options for those traveling from out of state. The Eugene airport is serviced by 7 airlines; Alaska, Allegiant, American, Avelo, Delta, Southwest, and United. — There are direct flights to Eugene from the following: - Austin (Southwest) - Dallas (American) - Denver (United) - Hollywood-Burbank (Avelo, Southwest) - Las Vegas (Allegiant, Southwest) - Los Angeles (Allegiant, American, Southwest) - Oakland (Allegiant, Southwest) - Orange County (Allegiant) - Palm Springs (Allegiant) - Phoenix-Mesa (Allegiant) - Phoenix Sky Harbor (American) - Sacramento (Southwest) - Salt Lake City (Delta) - San Diego (Alaska, Allegiant, Southwest) - San Francisco (United) - San Jose (Southwest) - Seattle (Alaska, Delta) — Traveling through Eugene would set you up for success if you wanted to visit the University of Oregon, Autzen Stadium, downtown Eugene, the Willamette River, etc. Eugene is quirky, beautiful, and an important part of our love story. Add some stops if your itinerary allows!
Flight
The Redmond airport is 1hr 30mins from McKenzie Bridge, and is the other best option for traveling from out of state. They are served by 5 air carriers; Alaska, American, Avelo, Delta, and United. — There are direct flights to Redmond from the following: - Burbank (Avelo) - Denver (United) - Las Vegas (Avelo) - Los Angeles (Alaska, United) - Palm Springs (Avelo) - Phoenix Sky Harbor (American) - Portland (Alaska) - Santa Rosa (Avelo) - Salt Lake City (Delta) - San Diego (Alaska) - San Francisco (Alaska, United) - Seattle (Alaska, Delta) — Traveling through Redmond would be the best option if you wanted to check out Bend or the greater Central Oregon area. There are some fantastic spots in Central Oregon and we would wholeheartedly encourage you to explore if you had some extra time!
Travel Note
We suggest booking airport transportation in advance. — Both the Eugene airport and Redmond airport have rental car companies available. The Eugene airport offers: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, Thrifty, and National. The Redmond airport offers: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and Hertz. — Uber and Lyft are available at both airports, but as they are smaller airports, try to schedule one ahead of time or anticipate potentially longer wait times. — There is a public transit bus from downtown Eugene to McKenzie Bridge (LTD route 91). There are also a number of other shuttle and taxi services from either airport.
Flight
The Portland airport is a little under 3 hours from McKenzie Bridge. This could be a great option if you are coming from afar and doing a grand tour of Portland or a wider span of the PNW, but will require the furthest travel to the wedding. We love PDX!
