Two people a country apart, one in California and the other in New Hampshire, and a nationwide volunteer program. Each of them wanted to help, wanted to see who and what was waiting for them. They requested to go anywhere in the country and they both found their way to Buffalo, NY and the Tri-Main building on Main Street. One month later, they were dancing in September and it all began.

It began with a trip to the bookstore. He went to pick out the ring and ordered it then and there! I knew it was coming - but I was completely taken by surprise. I told him that regardless of when he popped the question, I had to have my nails painted. I thought it would take place on a Friday morning, a week after my mom left for San Diego. It was going to happen on the bench where we had our first breakfast together. Instead, it happened on a regular Tuesday night. He insisted that I had to paint my nails that night, even though I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. After begrudgingly painting my nails, I put a kettle on the stove to make tea. He hugged me from behind and started to tell me me how much he loved me. I turned around and found him on one knee, he asked, "Priscilla Holland Anderson, will you marry me?"

They plan to move out to the West Coast and find a place they can call home. Priscilla will start law school in the upcoming years and Branden will go back for a Master's degree. Of course, plans change with time so they are both excited to see what exactly their future holds!
