Our Journey 2 Forever

Our story did not begin by chance—it began by God’s design. Long before we understood the significance of our first encounter, God was already ordering our steps, weaving purpose into moments that felt ordinary at the time. In 2013, our paths first crossed in Dublin while Stacey was working as a supervisor at Best Buy. Candice entered his life with confidence, personality, and a boldness that made her impossible to ignore. That moment—lighthearted, unexpected, and unforgettable—sparked a connection neither of us realized would one day matter so deeply. A handwritten phone number and a brief exchange became the first brick in a foundation God was quietly laying. Soon after, life carried Stacey up north. Distance grew, seasons changed, and our connection shifted into occasional interactions through social media. As time passed, life truly began lifing. We each faced challenges, experienced growth, and walked through seasons that stretched us emotionally and spiritually. Though our journeys unfolded separately, God was still present—shaping our character, strengthening our faith, and preparing us individually for what was ahead. In 2019, God intentionally brought our paths back together through a mutual friend. This reconnection felt different. It carried clarity, depth, and purpose. Through prayer and reflection, it became evident that this was more than a coincidence—it was alignment. What once seemed like a brief chapter now revealed itself as part of a much larger story God had been writing all along. From that moment forward, God began building not just a relationship, but a covenant—one rooted in faith, strengthened through patience, and anchored by trust in Him. We learned that love is not simply about emotion or attraction, but about commitment, obedience, and choosing one another daily. With God at the center, our bond grew into a cord of three strands—strong, resilient, and unbreakable. Our journey was not without detours. We faced moments that tested our faith, our patience, and our willingness to surrender control. But God remained faithful. Every delay refined us. Every obstacle aligned us more closely with His will. What could have weakened our relationship instead strengthened it, because we chose to trust God through every step. Today, we stand in gratitude—not only for finding each other, but for the process that prepared us for one another. Our love story is a testimony of grace, growth, redemption, and divine timing. It is proof that when God authors the story, nothing is wasted and everything serves a purpose. As we begin this next chapter together, we do so with full hearts and unwavering faith—hand in hand, heart to heart—trusting the God who brought us together to continue leading our marriage forward.
