Hi there! We’re so happy you’re here on our wedding website! Let’s start at the beginning and I’ll set the scene for you: May 15, 2019, both of us were on the dating app, Hinge, miles away from each other. We “matched” with each other after Charlie left a fun comment on a picture of me ;) We non-stop texted for two days and then decided to meet for the first time at Bar Louie. Charlie had a Two Hearted IPA beer (anyone that knows Charlie knows that is a no brainer!) I had a Corona with a lime and fried pickles (anyone that knows me knows I always need food available!) I can’t speak for Charlie, but this first date felt different! There was something special between us even though we had just met; a rare occurrence where immediately I felt comfortable being authentically myself. From that day on we never stopped talking and somehow managed to make a mid-distance relationship work where we’d only see each other 1-2x/week (which I believe is a miracle seeing as, again, we only “matched”, texted, and met within two days of knowing each other as well as Charlie being in his residency and I was just starting PT school! We were just a tad bit busy to say the least). Fast forward 6.5 years, many trips taken, closing of our mid-distance relationship, moving out of state, lots of new hobbies learned/shared, being each other’s best friend, a home made together, and bringing home an adorable sweet dog named Louie (her name is based on our first date!), we found ourselves in Hawaii! Charlie proposed on top of a dormant volcano above the clouds with a beautiful sunset off in the distance! We are so excited for whatever life has in store for us but one thing is for sure it will always be an adventure!
