We ask that guests be seated for the ceremony by 3:20pm. There's a bit of a walk between available parking, coming through the hotel and making your way down to the ceremony site.
Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors on grass. There is no indoor space unless you've booked a hotel room. There will be space heaters and a firepit available, but please dress accordingly for grass, wind and chilly weather. Appropriate accommodations will be provided in case of inclement weather.
The best place for parking will be along Moonstone Beach Drive. The hotel parking lot is reserved for hotel guests. Please be aware that the parking lot across the road from the hotel is a State Park, and the gate is locked nightly from Sunset until 8am.
Semi-Formal. Please wear something that makes you feel happy and comfortable! Bring layers and comfortable shoes. We will be outside on dirt and grass for both the ceremony and reception.
Due to the licensing of our venue, no alcoholic beverages will be served. Please do not bring your own alcohol, we will get in trouble. You'll be provided with a full espresso and coffee bar, a mocktail bar, and a few other options to ensure a good time.
While we probably adore your kiddo(s), the venue is immediately next to a busy road and the Pacific Ocean, therefore only the children named on your invitation are invited.
Take all the photos you'd like! We kindly ask you put away your camera or phone when prompted during the ceremony, but once the reception starts, snap away! We’ll even have digital cameras for you to use and turn in at the end of the night! Please send over ANY photos you take to Wil or Maddi!
The venue is dog-friendly, so if you want to bring your furry friend, you're welcome to! There will be no accommodations for pups, and dogs cannot be left unattended in hotel rooms, so you'll need to have them with you at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Dogs must remain on leash at all times at the venue and along the boardwalk.
We know a Monday wedding might not be the most traditional choice, but it allowed us to celebrate at this gorgeous venue while saving a few thousand dollars — and it happens to fall on Columbus Day, which we hope gives some of you a long weekend. We’ve also planned a later start time and an early enough end time so you can celebrate with us and still make it home at a reasonable hour!
