Question

How & when should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". Please RSVP before May 10th, 2025 (the sooner, the better)! Reach out to Hannah or Wil with questions!

What should I wear?

Answer

Summer Dressy Casual/Semi Formal Attire Wear shoes you can dance in (or a change of shoes in the car to grab later on in the night)! Soft summery colors and florals are encouraged, but not mandatory. The ceremony will be outside, while the reception will be indoors. *Please no jeans or colors close to white

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The outdoor ceremony will be starting promptly at 4 pm. We recommend guests arrive 30 minutes prior so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to arrive late, please wait at the top of the hill until the ceremony is over and then join us at the cocktail hour.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue. The venue allows guests to leave their vehicles over night at the venue and pick them up in the morning. We also will have a bus that will pick up guests from the Drury Inn in West Des Moines before the ceremony (3 pm), and make a couple trips back in the evening (9:30 and 11 pm)!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find you will not make it, please notify us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and listed with your name when you RSVP. If you believe there has been a mistake, please let us know. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture the moment for us and we promise to share our photos later on. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! Keep an eye out for QR codes posted at the reception so you can share all your photos and videos with us!
