There is not a specific instance that Becca and Wil can recall meeting or spending any time together during their shared years at OSU. This is incredibly odd considering the amount of strong mutual friends they share. Acquaintances they remained for the next ten years... The cycle broke when their mutual friend Thomas moved to Tulsa in 2019. Thomas and Wil took multiple weekend trips to NW Arkansas for spontaneous adventure. Each trip included stopping at Onyx coffee and visiting Thomas' lifelong friend Becca Jungers. She managed the local coffee shop and was always ready to catch up over a cappuccino. These visits were seemingly insignificant, but Wil and Becca developed a rapport that allowed for the story to get interesting. Sept 2019, Wil went on a solo camping trip to Fayetteville. He was comfortable enough to reach out on his own this time. He didn't know anyone else in the area and could use some company! So a week before leaving on his trip, Wil sent Becca a message via Facebook. Unfortunately for him, Becca was on a week long backpacking trip in The Grand Teton National Forest, so lunch couldn't happen. It was an exciting notion to spend time with a new friend, but was this JUST a friend reaching out? Regardless, the ice had been broken, and an ongoing conversation began to take place. After several weeks, Wil finally told Becca he wanted to take her on a date. She drove to Tulsa after work on a Friday and stayed with her friend Kasey. They didn't miss a weekend of seeing each other after that. Because of the pandemic there were no social distractions, so Wil and Becca chose to lean in and focus on their relationship. Most people witnessed Wil's proposal on facebook live, except Becca. Luckily for Wil, she doesn't really get on facebook. This is a classic story/example of God's perfect timing. He always knows what He's doing. Even when you don't. He is faithful - until the end. Every time. Can't wait to see you at the reception! Cheers!
