It was February 2020, we were both attending school at Northwest Vista, I was playing pool with a couple friends when he passed by and asked if he could join in. I asked him if he was good or bad at pool and he said he wasn't that great so I told him he could play against me. We started hanging out together any time we were on campus and texting any time we weren't on campus. When covid hit in March of 2020, and we went into lockdown, not a day passed that we didn't text or call. On July 28, 2020 we had our first date, amidst covid times my parents set the guideline it had to be a social distance date outside on our porch, Christopher agreed to it willingly and happily. He never complained, never had a frown on his face, he was just happy to be there. I knew right then, this is the man I'm going to marry.
I came up to a pool table at the gym after I finished my work out. I saw her playing with a couple of people and figured I could join. I go up I ask if they're playing pool and she asks how good I am and seeing as though the last time I played was 2 years ago I said not very. She goes ahead and wins by default because I pocket the 8, and we get to talking and like a switch was flicked we connected immediately. If you've had that feeling you'll know, but its like when you've known someone your whole life even though they've only been in it for a second. We never stopped talking and texting since then, and after being in lockdown for 4 months I ended up finding myself about 10 feet from her door, just talking because you know COVID and such. Since then I'm sure everything else is well documented so I will leave the beginning at that.
