Like the start of many modern love stories, we both swiped right and the rest is history. It was the summer of 2022. Lauren's Bio read "Traveling is my happy place. Accounting Major" so naturally I messaged her "So accounting and being cute, what else do we have in common?". That got my foot in the door. Our first date was at Pete's Pub on Brady Street. We had a few drinks, a few more of my 10/10 jokes, and a PowerPoint presentation of Lauren's gigantic family tree. We ended the night playing darts and Lauren will tell you that she beat me twice in a row. Talk about hitting the bullseye of my heart. After that first date we've been inseparable in every sense of the word. We've traveled from the streets of northern Europe, the beaches of Mexico, Milwaukee (the New York City of the Midwest), the Fox Valley of Appleton, to the hustle and bustle of Peoria. Fast forward to 2025, we bought our home in the Clovernook neighborhood of the North Shore of Milwaukee. Finding such a beautiful home in an unbelievable neighborhood has been a dream come true. Completing countless projects on our home to bring Lauren's vision to life has been a labor of love the past year+. Shoutout to thrift stores, family furniture, estate sales, and Facebook marketplace. Thank you to all the family and friends that have come to work on home projects and/or enjoy the fruits of our labor after the fact. You are the people who have shaped our story, and we feel so lucky to have you in our lives. Thank you for being part of our journey, we wouldn't be here without you. We can’t wait to have you by our side as we say 'I do' and celebrate the night away! Cheers!
