We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! The dress code is garden party cocktail. Please plan to embrace the spring season and wear floral prints and springtime colors. Please do not wear jeans or white!
The welcome party will be cocktail attire. The venue has a dark, moody, speakeasy-style vibe, so feel free to lean into that aesthetic if you'd like. Cocktail dresses, dressy tops, button-downs, blazers and fun evening outfits are all great options.
Unfortunately, horse racing season has closed, but you're invited to take a bet on us! Fill out a betting slip to make wagers on our wedding for a $5 buy in. Venmo @katie-baker-119 with your buy in. Winner and honeymoon fun will split the pot. Please note that participation is completely optional! https://bettingonthewedding.app.link/d5d5NKYJZYb
Late May in Hot Springs is typically warm (70-80s) and humid. Our Welcome Party, Wedding Ceremony and Reception are indoors with air conditioning. Our cocktail hour will be outdoors. Please plan for warm spring temperatures when planning for your trip!
It’s best to plan transportation with your group ahead of time as transportation will not be provided. You can leave your car overnight at the Chittum Venue at Forest Lake, but since it’s a small town and a Sunday night, we suggest booking an Uber, Lyft, or taxi early to ensure availability.
There is parking available at Garvan Gardens for Anthony Chapel. Park in Garvan Woodland Gardens' main guest parking area and follow signs for Anthony Chapel. There is limited parking at the Chittum Venue at Forest Lakes. If the parking lot fills up, guests are invited to use street parking. If you plan to leave your car overnight, please park in the venue lot (not street parking).
We recommend arrive between 3:00 and 3:15 to allow time for parking and seating.
Hot Springs has some old-school Sunday alcohol laws, so liquor stores and grocery stores can’t sell alcohol that day. Don’t worry: you can still drink at restaurants, bars, and venues, and our reception will have a full open bar, so you’ll be very well taken care of. If you want alcohol for your hotel or Airbnb, please plan to pick it up earlier in the weekend.
Yes! We’ll have a full open bar at the reception. Cheers!
The welcome party will have a full bar available, with beer and wine hosted by us. Additional cocktails and spirits will be available for purchase.
Yes! Admissions to the gardens is included with your visit as a wedding guest, so you're welcome to enjoy the grounds after the ceremony.
Since our wedding falls on Memorial Day Weekend, we recommend booking flights and accommodations well in advance.
We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding!
The gardens are a dry and smoke/vape-free property, so please leave any of that for after the ceremony. It’s a venue policy that applies to everyone on the grounds, and we want to make sure the day goes smoothly for all of us. Drinks are absolutely on the way at the reception!
