This is the main airport in Denver and is about a 3 hour scenic drive to Steamboat.

A smaller airport outside of Craig, CO near Steamboat. There are limited flights but a great option if you want to avoid the drive. Ubers and Lyfts are not reliable in this area, so you must arrange a shuttle or pickup ahead of time from one of the airport shuttles listed below. We recommend GoAlpine.
Travel Note
GoAlpine, Powderhound Transportation, Slope Transportation, and Storm Mountain Express can be arranged for shuttle services between lodging in town and airport - both Denver International Airport and Hayden Yampa Valley.
House Or Rental
There are plenty of Airbnbs in the area. We like both downtown and the mountain area since both are serviced by the free shuttle. We recommend that if you book an Airbnb outside of these areas, you should consider renting a car so that you can get into town and also to the wedding festivities. Our favorite places to stay are downtown between 1st and 10th or along Lincoln, Yampa, and Oak Street - snag one of those if you want the ultimate Steamboat experience.
Travel Note
Cars are available to rent from Hayden and Denver airport. Steamboat is a wonderful community with clean, reliable, and free public buses to take you around downtown, to grocery shops and to the mountain. Depending on where you are staying a car may not be necessary, especially if you are staying in the downtown area as you may walk, city bus, bike. Uber/Lyft is limited in Steamboat Springs.
