Krysten and Arthur's lives crossed paths a number of times over the last decade, but timing never seemed to be on their side. The pair first met back in 2008, when the University of Delaware's cycling team had a race in NYC. Corey (Krysten's brother in law) was dating Alyssa (Krysten's sister) at the time so the team stayed at the Moore house for the weekend. Arthur was quick to remember Krysten, but Krysten had no recollection of the meeting. In 2015, fate gave them a second chance to interact, this time at Corey & Alyssa’s wedding. The morning of the wedding, Krysten brought the groomsmen (Arthur included!) coffee and with a smile she walked away. Arthur remembered this, but Krysten had no recollection of the meeting (again). One day in April 2018, Alyssa was sick of hearing Krysten go on and on about the latest flight deal that recently hit the market and had the genius idea of reintroducing her to Arthur. The plan was to have a casual run in Memorial Day weekend at a backyard BBQ. However, Memorial Day is the end of May and this was April. Krysten’s patience level never would last that long so she decided to craft an excuse to reach out to Arthur. It all started with text messages about flight deals to the Galapagos. Krysten decided this was the perfect excuse to reach out knowing from Alyssa that Arthur also wanted to go. Krysten sent her message; Arthur responded, and they haven’t stopped talking since.
