In the 3rd grade, Tyler had just moved from Rhode Island to a little town in Connecticut called Clinton and began at Joel Elementary School. It was then that the two met in passing. Overtime the two ended up further crossing paths in middle school when their friend groups merged as Tyler's best friends lived on Madi's Street. It wasn't until Freshman year of high school when in their history class, Mr. Zwadski put Madi next to Tyler as a punishment for talking too much, it was then Madi turned to Tyler and told him "we are now best friends okay?", and Tyler just accepted his fate. After this moment, Madi and Tyler actually did become best friends. Their last names at the end of the alphabet also had them sitting together in several other classes, and Tyler would help Madi with her homework. They also joined track together Junior year of high school and the two became inseparable. When Junior Prom was coming around the corner, Tyler asked Madi to go to prom with him, Madi agreed to go as friends and Tyler accepted. After this they talked 24/7, walking each other to class, texting till ungodly hours of the night, trying to get our friend groups to hang out so we could see each other, etc. Tyler then proceeded to ask Madi out for the first time on 2/10/2014 to which she said 'no' as she did not want to ruin their friendship. He then asked her out again on 2/13/2014, to which she said 'no' again, told him he knew nothing about girls, and told him he should be doing this in person. On Valentine's day of 2014, Tyler asked Madi out one final time, to which she finally said 'yes' and then proceeded to lecture him about how this was either a forever thing or nothing because their friendship was never going to be the same.
After a decade of dating and living together for 3 years Madi knew the moment was coming. However, she did not expect how far Tyler would go to make sure she wasn't expecting anything. A month of so before, Tyler conspired with Madi's sister (Kailee: co-Maid of Honor), and one of his best friends (James: Groomsmen) to set up the perfect engagement. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
