Josh and his friends were looking for another girl to join their UCONN intramural soccer team. If they didn't have an equal number of boys and girls, they'd be disqualified. Considering his close group of friends is all guys, this was a nonzero possibility. One particularly athletic friend of his, Mike Morton, happened to be at swing dance practice with Kristen and convinced her to join their team. It wasn't until she showed up and met the team that she realized just how cute the team captain was! Less than a month later, they had their first date walking around UCONN campus. And the rest is history!
