FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brooke Koenen and Ross Whyte
Question

Can I bring a plus one or additional guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who were formally invited. When you RSVP, the names of everyone included in your invitation will appear under your name. If a guest or plus one does not appear when you RSVP, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional attendees. Thank you so much for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love our friends’ and family’s children, our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event. We are only able to accommodate the guests that are listed on each invitation and that are visible when you RSVP. We’re so grateful for your support and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Given the time of year, we suggest suits or slacks with dress shirts for men, and midi or long dresses or dressy jumpsuits for women. Please no jeans or white attire.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM, and guests will not be admitted after it has started. To ensure smooth parking and seating, we recommend arriving between 5:00 and 5:15 PM. Important parking note: the attached garage switches to a flat evening rate after 5:00 PM; arrivals before then are charged hourly.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The recommended parking garage is located at 2323 Elliott Ave. This garage is attached to our venue by a skybridge and elevator down to the street level entrance (signs will guide you). This garage switches to a flat evening rate after 5:00 PM; arrivals before then are charged hourly. There are also several other parking options in the surrounding area, including street parking.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away and silenced once the ceremony begins. This allows everyone to be fully present and helps our photographer capture the aisle and ceremony without phones in the background. We promise to share our professional photos afterward! Photos are more than welcome during the reception, and we’ll have a photo booth with printed keepsakes for you to enjoy.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors. There is a large outdoor balcony connected to the venue that guests are welcome to enjoy during cocktail hour and throughout the evening, weather permitting. As the event is in April in Seattle, we recommend bringing a light jacket in case it’s chilly or rainy, though you can choose to stay indoors if you'd like.
