Jeff is Joel's cousin and his first best friend. They have grown up together over the last *gulp* 30 years, and it was Jeff whom Joel called to chat over his feelings for Sammi when he started falling in love.

Allie is Sammi's younger sister. From sharing a bedroom to traveling the world together and everything in between, they've found that sisters are one of the best friends you could ever have. She's thrilled to have Allie as her maid of honor.

Jessica and Joel have been through everything together. They are just about as close as two siblings can be. As the first family member on either side to see the couple together, it was her blessing that showed Joel just how special his relationship with Sammi could be.

When you talk about "best friends forever," you're talking about Sammi & Megan. After meeting on the bus in first grade, they spent their entire childhood together. Though they've lived in different cities (and states!) since college, whenever they get together, they're always able to pick up where they left off. They've been talking about this day since they were kids and can't wait to finally celebrate together.

Katy has been one of Joel's closest friends for well over a decade. They were teammates for three years on the Warren Central Speech Team before both matriculating at Butler University. Katy once suggested Joel should send Sammi a singing telegram with flowers after their first date.

Rachel is Sammi's sorority little sister. After meeting at big little reveal, they quickly became best friends and cornerstones in each other's lives. Their friendship is proof that it isn't always those you've known the longest - but those who know your true self, who are the most important friends.

Aaron and Joel met through Marion County Young Democrats and became fast friends, bonding over their shared love of British punk music, Studio Ghibli films, and leftist politics. Joel was a groomsman in Aaron's wedding circa 2018.
Sabrina Kroger

Sabrina and Sammi are cousins and were attached at the hip during childhood. From summer camps spent together to week-long sleepovers and make believe restaurants, these two found lifelong friendship in their bond. Sammi stood in Sabrina's wedding in 2018 and can't wait to have Sabrina in hers!

Alec and Joel met when Alec transferred to Butler University in 2011 and joined Lambda Chi Alpha. They became Greek brothers and best friends before moving in together in 2015. They cohabitated until mid-2017, hosting Friendsgiving, debate viewing parties, and the annual EuroVision Song Contest party.
Ginny Swale

Ginny and Sammi became fast friends when Joel and Sammi started dating. Fun fact, her husband, Kevin, is a groomsmen on Joel's side! Ginny made sure Sammi became integrated into their group of friends and has shown how quickly friendships can strengthen. Joel, Sammi, Ginny, & Kevin all love to spend time together, from their weekly "Bachelor" watching parties to Friday night game nights and everything in between, Sammi's excited to have Ginny stand by her side.

Kevin and Joel met through their involvement in Lambda Chi Alpha at Butler University. Despite their differing political opinions, they bonded as the only two political science majors in their respective classes. Since that time, they have become best friends. Joel served as a groomsman in Kevin's wedding in 2017, and Kevin's wife Ginny is a bridesmaid for Sammi.
